Njan Marykutty is a 2018 Indian Malayalam-language comedy movie which is written and directed by Ranjith Sankar. The movie is featuring Jayasurya as a transgender person, Jewel Mary, Jins Baskar, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Aju Varghese and Joju George in the prominent roles. The music for the movie is composed by Anand Madhusoodhanan and lyrics are written by Santhosh Varma. The movie also marks the fifth collaboration between actor Jayasurya and director Ranjith Sankar.
Story based on-
Marykutty, (played by Jayasurya) a female finds herself in a dilemma of being trapped inside the body of a male. She has a dream of her own and in her endeavor to realize the dream, she finds support in Manoj Vaidyan (played by Suraj Venjaramoodu), Radio Achan (played by Innocent) and Kunjippalu (played by Joju Mala). The film is a light-hearted social comedy that looks at the world with a different eye.
