Watch ‘Rowdy Hero 2’ World Television Premiere on Sony Max 22nd July 2017 :- Hindi movie channel Sony Max is all set to telecast first time the World Television Premiere of the masala thriller movie ‘Rowdy Hero 2’ at 8 pm this Saturday at 22nd July. The movie is based on the lives of two identical brothers and how their life will come into the limelight in the movie Rowdy Hero 2.
This South Indian blockbuster Rowdy Hero 2 is the dubbed version of the Tamil film Kodi which was a huge hit. The film is helmed by the famous director R. S Durai Senthilkumar and features superstars Dhanush, Trisha Krishnan and Anupama Parameswaran in the lead roles.

‘Rowdy Hero 2’ revolves around the lives of Kodi and Anbu who are look-alike twins brothers who are the son of the political worker who sacrifices his life in protest for a good cause. While Kodi dedicates himself and he is taking forward the good work which was started by his late father.
And Kodi also want to take family prestige of his family on the further level and his twin brother Anbu puts family first and he can do anything for his family.
When Kodi’s love for Rudra, a fierce speaker from the rival party, come it just destroy his political career, he also stumbles upon a scam which shattered his life but actually, this scam has been done by Anbu and also in the film, both brothers will be witnessing something unexpected!
The Tamil film Kodi is dubbed in ‘Rowdy Hero 2’ which is touted as the best Tamil-language political action thriller film written and directed by R. S. Durai Senthilkumar and bankrolled of the film done by Vetrimaaran under his banner Grass Root Film Company.
Apart from Dhanush, Anupama Parameswaran, Trisha the film also features S. A. Chandrasekhar and Saranya Ponvannan. Dhanush, who produced R. S. Durai Senthilkumar’s previous two films, Ethir Neechal and Kakki Sattai and for this film, Dhanush played double roles for the first time.
The film’s music and background score were composed by Santhosh Narayanan; the cinematography is done by Venkatesh S. The film was simultaneously dubbed in Telugu as Dharmayogi, and it hit theater second day after the release of its Tamil version.
Upon release, the film opened to positive reviews from critics as well as audience and Dhanush steals the show completely as everybody praised him.
The trade reports say that Kodi has grossed over Rs 33 crore in the entire Tamil Nadu since the film hit theaters. Some unconfirmed reports said that last year the film collected Rs 38.2 crore in seven days in the state after its released so the makers declare it as a hit film.
The mutual and combined collection of Tamil and Telugu versions has crossed Rs 50-crore mark at the global box office, various reports stated.
The success of the movie is now evident after 75 new screens have been added in Tamil Nadu and around 30 screens which increased the ratio in Andhra Pradesh too.
