The popular K-pop girl group band, “Twice” is once back with another mind-blowing and jaw-dropping single this time, however, the catch here is that they are coming with their first-ever English Digital Single. On 25th June 2021, the girl group took over their official Twitter handle named, “@JYPETWICE” and shared with their fans about the release of their upcoming English single track. Earlier, this month, the group released their 10th Korean mini-album, named, “Taste of Love” on 11th June and received a humongous response from their admirers across the globe.
Within 24 hours, the music video gained more than 20 million viewers on YouTube and by the end of 17th June, their mini-album debuted in the Billboard Top 200 and stood at the number 6. Not only this but the album also became the first top 10 album in the US that was able to earn 46,000 album-equivalent units. While in term of physical sales, the album recorded 43,000 physical sales, thus becoming the best selling album in the United States for about a week.
The success of Twice did not end there, as the group is still continuing to make and set new records in the Korean Music Industry and are giving a tough competition to the popular boy bands of Korea. Twice has nine members named, Mina, Momo, Sana, Tzuyu, Jihyo, Nayeon, Dahyun, Jeongyeon and Chaeyoung. It has been reported that after the grand success of their 10th Korean mini-album, “Taste of Love”, the group is all set to release their 3rd Japanese album named “Perfect World” on 28th July 2021.
Twice’s English Digital Single Expected Release Date
So, this means that before the release of their first-ever digital English single, the fans are going to get a full dose of K-pop, dancing-pop and EDM through their upcoming album. Moreover, as per the Twitter handle of “Twice”, it is said that their new English album will be going to make its global release on a Friday in September 2021. Thus, the expected release date of their new English single is either 3rd, 10th, 17th or 24th September 2021.
The fans are extremely enthralled and are radiating joy and happiness and are looking forward to the new Single of Twice. Also, there are various conjectures and speculation, whether the K-pop girl band, will be able to give a tough competition to the popular hit English singles of BTS, “Butter ” and “Dynamite”.
