The popular American family comedy-drama “Family Reunion” is once again, coming back to entertain the audience and take us all on the amazing journey of the McKellen Family on Netflix. The family sitcom unfolds many aspects of life. Those who have watched the first season of this Tv series will know, how amazing the whole series is. The series is about the McKellen family who left Seattle and came to Georgia, their hometown. Coming to Georgia was not the big task, but the bigger task was to settle down in the environment and the new surrounding of Georgia. They had a tough time, establishing their place and every individual member of the family been through a lot of difficult times, but they never gave up and each of the six members supported each other, emotionally and mentally and also encouraged in every possible way. The first season of Family Reunion aired on Netflix on 10th June 2019 and was released in two parts.
The trailer of Family Reunion Part 3 has already released on the official YouTube channel of Netflix on 8th March 2021. As of now, the trailer has crossed more than 534K views and it has got a spectacular response from the audience. The viewers are eagerly waiting for the release of Part 3 of the family reunion. This time the makers have revealed that they are going to release part 3 of the series on 5th April 2021.
It will have a total of eight episodes. This time too, the credit of creating the third part goes to Meg DeLoatch. The series is produced under the production banner of Mega Diva by Robert West and Scott Hartle along with Meg DeLoatch as the executive producer. The principal cinematography is done by John Simmons along with the editing help of Russell Griffin.
Family Reunion Part 3: Storyline
In part 3, we will witness that though the McKellen family has settled down in Georgia, they are having some financial difficulties. In the trailer, we saw Cocoa Mckellan played by Tia Mowry telling her eldest daughter Jade played by Talia Jackson, the importance of education and it will help her in getting a good job in a reputable company and also, she can move out after that. At the same time, M’Dear played by Loretta Devine, the mother of Moz, says sarcastically that, someone needs to break the cycle in the Mckellen family.
While Shaka played by Isaiah Russell- Bailey is going to get admission to the school. He is a very brilliant child and therefore, his parents wish him the best school, which can brush up his skills, but then again, the financial instability becomes their biggest hurdle. On the other hand, Jade’s boyfriend Royale broke up with her and now she swears that she will never love again.
Along with these scenes, the whole part 3 has a hella bunch of comedy and you have to hold your stomach because it will surely be going to hurt you, as the comedy scene are damn hilarious. Apart from these funny scenes, the viewers are also going to witness the struggles of the McKellen family. We will see Moz, the head of the family, doing everything in order to bring a smile to the faces of his family, even if he had to do the most stupid job.
