PM Modi To address The nation in Mann Ki Baat Programme On 31st May, Channel Details

The Prime Minister of the country Narendra Modi is all set for this monthly radio address popularly known as “Mann ki Baat”. It is being assumed that the PM Modi’s Mann ki Baat can be the stage for the declaration of the Lockdown 5.0 . The 4th tenure of the lockdown that came in existence from the 18th May will be finishing from 31st May. Coincidentally PM Modi’s Mann ki Baat radio telecast is scheduled on 31st as well.  The information that has been gathered from the government officials is that the Lockdown 5.0 would be mainly focusing on the 11 cities which have constituted about an ample part of the patients of the COVID-19.

The information was confirmed by the home ministry sources that the 5th Lockdown would be mainly focusing the 11 cities with as many as 70 percent of the total corona virus cases. Thesecities would include Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru , Pune, Thane, Indore, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Surat and Kolkata. Among these, the cities that have been most affected are Delhi, Ahmedabad, Pune, Kolkata and Mumbai.  The central government has prepared a list of the 30 municipal corporations areas which is said to account for the 80 percent of the country’s total Covid-19 cases.

The central government may also took in consideration the reopening of the religious places in the Lockdown 5.0 but with strict restrictions.  The restrictions may include no religious events to be conducted in this period, as well as each and every person practising social distancing in the premises. The Karnataka government has requested PM Modi for the reopening of all the religious institutions from June 1, by writing a letter to the PMO. After the saloons, gyms maybe the next stop to open , while all the educational institutions to remain closed . Malls and cinema halls are also likely to remain closed in the coming days.
