Finally, the wait is over and the most awaited examination by the Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board (PSSSB) has issued the recruitment exam which is scheduled for the post of the Block Level Extension officer, Excise and Taxation Inspector and Senior Industrial Promotion Officer posts. The applicants who applied for the desired posts can easily check the schedule of the examination through the official website of the PSSSB such as sssb.punjab.gov.in. The candidates are eagerly waiting for the examination for fulfilling their dreams and also due to the ongoing pandemic, all the country facing unemployment and now, the PSSSB comes with a few post for the eligible candidates who can easily submit and fill the form for applying to the post and secured their seats in the vacant posts of the PSSSB.
As per the latest notification which is shared by the PSSSB, it is showed that the exam will be held on 8th August 2021 and also the board of the examination shared the plan for the written examination on their official website. According to the post, the exam will be conveyed in the format of the MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions). The OMR sheets will be utilized for solving the problems and also there will be a negative marking for all the wrong answers which will be given by the candidates and all the question carries equal 1 mark. If the candidates will give one wrong answer then a total of 1/4th mark would be decreased while the question which will not attempt by them will get no credit or discredit.

- General Knowledge/Awareness (India & Punjab): 15
- Numerical Ability: 15
- Reasoning Ability: 10
- Punjab History and Culture: 10
- Taxation: 20
- Industrial Promotion and Development: 20
The recruitment drive comes with a total of 168 posts in which a total of 56 vacancies is set for the Senior Industrial Promotion Officer while the other 61 vacancies are fixed for the Block Level Extension Officer and at last, the last 51 are fixed for the Excise & Taxation Inspector.
