A total number of 3,591 apprentice vacancies have been offered by the Railway Recruitment Cell Mumbai and the notification of the same has been released today. The recruitment cell has invited applications to fill the offered vacancies at several divisions and workshops within the authority of Western Railways such as Electrician, Plumber, Welder, Electronics Mechanic, Carpenter, Draftsman, etc. in various departments.
Even though the recruitment notification has been already announced on the official site, but the application process of the same is going to commence from May 25. Interested candidates have to apply for these offered posts through the online process at the official web portal of RRC i.e. www.rrc-wr.com.
Applicants are advised to apply for these offered posts before June 24, which is the last date to apply for Railways Apprentice Recruitment 2021. Also, the applicants must check the eligibility criteria before applying in order to check whether they qualify for the posts or not. Railways Apprentice Recruitment 2021: Eligibility Criteria
Here is the list of Eligibility Criteria that every interested candidate must check before applying to the posts offered by WR Railway Recruitment Cell.
Educational Qualification:
The interested candidates who have passed their Matriculation or Class 10th with minimum 50 per cent marks in aggregate are allowed to apply for the offered vacancies by WR Railway Recruitment Cell.
Age Limit:
The interested candidates’ age must fall between 15 years and 24 years, as on June 24. However, age relaxation has been offered to certain categories. The SC/ST and OBC candidates’ upper age limit can be relaxed by five years and three years respectively. In the meantime, for the PWD and ex-servicemen candidates, the upper age limit has been relaxed by ten years.
Technical Qualification:
The applicant must have the ITI certificate that has been affiliated to NCVT / SCVT. For some of the technical posts offered by the recruitment cell, this certificate is compulsory.
Railways Apprentice Recruitment 2021: Application Fee
The applicants have to pay certain amount of fee online in order to apply for Railways Apprentice Recruitment 2021. The fee that you have to pay in the application process is Rs. 100 which is non- refundable. However, the SC/ST/PWD/Women candidates can apply for the offered posts without paying any fee. One must take note that online application process can’t be completed unless until you pay the application fee.
