The popular multiplayer action-adventure game ‘Sea of Thieves’ is going to bring a new update where the players are going to see the Pirates of the Caribbean character. It will be a part of a new original story from the game and it is called Sea of Thieves: A Pirate’s Life. The players of ‘Sea of Thieves’ are very well aware of its trend to bring the new update every three months. Therefore, it is now going to switch to a seasonal model with the latest update and rewards tracking. At the E3 presentation on Sunday, Microsoft and the ‘Sea of Thieves’ developer Rare has showcased some of the latest elements that are going to come up for the pirate sandbox, and it also consists of a season three preview as well.
Sea of Thieves: A Pirate’s Life Preview
In the preview showed at E3 presentation on Sunday, the popular ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ movie character Jack Sparrow played by Johnny Depp was also there along with his crew, including Davy Jones as well. It also includes some new enemies that are going to arrive at the game in this new update which also include the giant crab men.
From its preview, it seems like that the players are going to spend more of their time in the Sea of the Damned, and that is limited at present to only a respawn mechanic. On the other hand, it also expected that the players are going to get a chance for exploring the spirit realm at the time of playing new update.
Overall, the players are going to experience an unexpected crossover of the latest original story of the game titled ‘A Pirate’s Life’ along with the Pirates of the Caribbean series in the upcoming update.
Sea of Thieves: A Pirate’s Life Launch Date
The multiplayer action-adventure (first-person) game ‘Sea of Thieves’ was originally launched in the year 2018 for the platforms like Microsoft Windows and Xbox One. It let the players to cooperate with each other in order to travel and discover an open world through a pirate ship. In July 2020, Microsoft made an official statement stating that the Sea of Thieves had been played by more than 15 million players after its launch in 2018. Later on, it was re-launched for the Xbox Series X/S on 10th November 2020. With the latest launch, the makers have improved its loading time and it now runs on Xbox Series X at 4K and 60fps while on Xbox Series S, its runs at 1080p.
Now talking about its upcoming new original story, the ‘Sea of Thieves: A Pirate’s Life’ is going to be available from June 22. Players must take note that his expansion is going to be available for free and will take place across five tales as well. Also, Xbox in a latest statement said that the players are going to go on a journey and in this mission they will explore the world’s greatest Pirate Treasure power and for this they have to first free Jack Sparrow from the prison.
