Shocking News: Sania-Strycova Lose In Final Of Wuhan Open 2016

Sania Mirza and her partner Barbora Strycova were defeated by the hands of their rivals Bethanie Mattek-Sands and Lucie Safarova on October 1, 2016, at WTA Wuhan Open.

This loss was more disappointment for the duo of Sania Mirza and Barbora Strycova as they lost it by straight set. The pair of Mattek-Sands and Lucie Safarova defeated their opponent by the telly of 1-6 4-6 in the big final of $2,589,000. This match lasted for more than one hour and the result came to disappointment for the millions of the fan.

The partnership of Ind-Czech, Mattek-Sands and Safarova converted six of the eight break points that came their way. On the other side, the pair of Ind-Czech, Sania Mirza, and Barbora Strycova wasted six out of eight and the loss was destined for them.

According to the experts, the loss was quite surprising for the Indians fan as they saw Sania losing at the Rio Olympics and now at the WTA Wuhan Open.

Meanwhile, Sania’s record is still quite good as she only lost the single tournament in the last tournament that she played. Although, Sania has lost but she has a lot to win in the upcoming tournament in near future.
