The recruiting body, Tripura Public Service Commission has released a notification for the recruitment of Junior Medical Officer (JMO) and General Duty Medical Officer. A total number of 164 vacancies has been released by TPSC under the healthcare industry sector this time. The selected candidates will be recruited at various locations of Agartala, Tripura. So aspirants who have been dreaming of working in the healthcare industry under the TPSC has got this amazing opportunity. The last day to apply for the post of JMO/ GDMO is 17th May 2021 and the window for registration will remain open till 17th May at 4:00 PM (IST).
TPSC JMO/GDMO Recruitment 2021: Age Limit & Educational Qualification
The age of the candidate should not be more than 40 years as on 17th May 2021. Age relaxation of 5 years has been given to the ST/SC aspirants. Whereas the candidates must have a medical degree and must have completed his/her internship and besides, the candidates must possess a permanent registration certificate from a recognized state medical council.
TPSC JMO/GDMO Recruitment 2021: How to Apply?
The candidates who are interested in applying for the above-stated posts are required to follow the below procedure.
- Candidates have to visit the official website of tpsc, that is, “https://tpsc.tripura.gov.in/”
- Candidates are required to do “One-Time Profile Registration (OTPR)”
- Candidates are required to apply for the post of JMO/GDMO using the User ID that will send to your registered email Id and Phone number during the OTPR procedure.
- Candidates are required to fill in necessary details and also have to attach all the mandatory document including Category Certificate, MBBS mark sheets and experience certificate etc including the recent passport size photograph.
- Thereafter the candidates are required to pay the fees and click on the submit button.
TPSC JMO/GDMO Recruitment 2021: Recruitment Process & Salary
The Recruitment process will take place in two stages.
- Stage 1: Candidates will be selected on the basis of the marks achieved in their respective medical degree, that is, API (Academic Performance Index). Stage 1 will be of 100 marks and additional 10 marks will be given to the candidates who have given their services under the Wuhan virus pandemic distress.
- Stage 2: The selected candidates then shall further be called for an interview round. The interview round is assigned 5 marks.
The final selection will be done on the basis of combining both the marks obtained by the candidates in the API and interview round. On successful passing, the candidates will be located at the various hospitals in Tripura and will be paid remuneration between Rs. 15,600 to Rs. 39,100.
Out of the 164 vacancies, 34 of them are allotted to the Unreserved (UR) category, 28 to SC category and 101 to ST category. The General category applicants are required to pay Rs. 300 while SC, ST & PWD candidates are required to pay Rs. 250.
