Important notice regarding the UP Assistant Teacher Recruitment 2021. On 18th April 2021, the exam for the various post of teacher in the primary schools of UP was conducted, and later the result regarding the same was declared in the month of May. However, as India is suffering from the second wave of the Wuhan Virus Pandemic, the process of recruitment of Assistant teacher came to a halt. More than thousands of candidates took part in the written examination, however, out of the 69,000 posts of teacher, the remaining 5,000 vacant posts are yet to be recruited.
The good news is that as per the reports, soon the recruitment of more than 5000 teachers will begin in the primary government schools. Due to the ongoing pandemic and the lockdown, the recruitment took a long duration. As per the sources, the conducting body of the UP assistant teacher examination will conduct counselling for the candidates regarding the same. However, only those candidates who have successfully passed the written examination will be called further for counselling.
Keeping in mind the safety of the candidates, the counselling will be conducted in two stages. This plan is originally proposed by the government of India keeping in mind the current situation. The remaining post will be filled on the basis of the merit list of the candidates who have successfully passed the above examination. The reason why it took so long to fill the vacancy was that the panchayat election was taking place at the time in UP and then, the drastic increase in the number of patients affected by the ongoing virus forced the government to implement lockdown.
Please note that the above counselling will be done in offline mode meaning that face to face counselling will be done instead of online counselling. Earlier, the candidates demanded online counselling however, their demand was rejected by the Basic Education Department of UP. However, the department has to follow the rules and procedures prescribed by the governments.
As per the government norms, only five candidates at a time will be called for counselling. However, an order is still required to be passed by the Board regarding the same and this time candidates do not have to wait for too long, as the order will be issued soon by the official conducting bodies of the UP Assistant Teacher Recruitment 2021.
