A well-known actress from Tamil film industry has accused Dr Manikandan (member of AIADMK) for allegedly sexually exploiting, cheating and blackmailing her over the previous five years. Dr Manikandan is one of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam party leader and former Tamil Nadu minister as well. The actress has logged FIR against the former minister and made some shocking revelation in her complaint.
As per to the local reports, the actress has also submitted some photographs of both along with some documents to the Chennai Police to prove their relationship and the threats that he was forcing on the actress. Right now, the complaint has been launched and the investigation will take place based on the logged FIR.

Dr. M. Manikandan Early Life
Dr. M. Manikandan was born in Tamil Nadu in the district of Ramanthapuram. He was graduated from the Annamalai University and received the bachelor’s degree in Medicine. He went for higher studies in Tamil Nadu to get his Masters in Surgery (MS), for which he entered Sriramachandra Medical College and successfully received the degree. He has also gained fellowship of FIAGES and has worked in Madurai Medical College where he worked as an Assistant Professor of Surgery.

Dr. M. Manikandan is a well-known Indian politician who is currently an All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) party member. Additionally, he is also a first-term member of the 15th Legislative Assembly of Tamil Nadu and has been elected from the constituency of Ramanathapuram of the district of same name. He was selected as the Minister of Information Technology in Tamil Nadu from 2016 to 2019. He is also one of the youngest ministers that have sworn into the Cabinet of Tamil Nadu which he did at the age of 39.

Dr Manikandan has been currently facing a big controversy as a renowned Tamil actress has made some shocking allegations against AIADMK former minister. The actress that has logged a complaint against the minister is Shantini Deva, who is an Indian origin woman from Malaysia. She is well-known for her work in a Tamil film named ‘Nadodigal’. She also alleged that the minister sexually exploited her and along with cheating he also blackmailed and threatened her. According to her lodged complaint, the actress said that the former minister was threatening her that he will hire some contract killers in order to kill her.
The Tamil actress has alleged that she started her relationship with M Manikandan back in 2017 and throughout these years the political leader promised to marry her but later cheated on her by refusing. The 36-year-old actress has also lodged a complaint against Dr Manikandan on the same matter with the Chennai police. She has demanded to take some strong steps against the former minister from AIADMK. In her complaint, the actress has recorded that the former minister has sexually exploited her that also resulted in her pregnancy, on which Dr Manikandan forced her to go through the abortion. She also recorded in her FIR complaint that the minister was threatening her to leak her intimate images online if she files a complaint. She has also attached some photographs and documents along with the FIR to prove that she was in relationship with M. Manikandan and to show that he was also threating her.
