One of the two famous American YouTuber named, “David Dobrik” and “Liza Koshy” met each other for the first time in the year 2015 at a Hollywood party and connected over the fact that they were both minor and youthful and thus, could not drink. As a matter of fact, they both looked quite good with each other, which would be an understatement, as they both used to look so comfortable with each other as if they are a match made in heaven. Their fans still wish that they could see both the YouTubers together, however, this only their wishful thinking, as they both broke up in the year 2018.
During the time when they were together, they were seen making a lot of content and vlogs together on their respective youtube channels and also used to attend most of the ceremonies and awards shows together. On 26th September 2017, both of them were spotted together at the Streamy Awards 2017 that took place a the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. They were extremely happy together and shared the same sense of humour and friend circle. So, what exactly went wrong between the two.
The reason behind Liza Koshy & David Dobrik Split
The beautiful YouTube couple broke up at the beginning of 2018, however, they made their break-up official over the media in June 2018. Both of them made a video on their respective youtube channels and revealed the news of their break-up to everyone. In an extremely heartbroken voice, David was seen saying that, “It was not healthy for them to continue their relationship, for now.”
He further stated, that, Liza split up with him because she has been feeling that they have become distant as they both have been too busy in their own world. David in fact acknowledged this fact and was sen saying that he hates to admit it, but this is what he is also feeling. Later, Liza came into the picture and was seen saying that she decided that they should break up.
She later explained that she felt bad at the fact they distanced in the first place and as a matter of fact, with every passing year, their bond got more strong, and they made a lot of development and progress at the personal as well at the professional level. Liza later appeared on one of the extremely famous talk shows of America, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Colbert interviewed Koshya and also asked her about her previous relationship with David and also the reason behind the six months delay in revealing their break news to their admirers.
Liza started by saying that they had such an amazing relationship, however, at the time of break up, they both were extremely heartbroken, and thus, they wanted to heal first.
