Last week in the WWE NXT was loaded with a bunch of entertainment and astonishment for the viewers, as the Hall of Famer of WWE Ted DiBiase made a spectacular announcement regarding teh comeback of the legendary wrestler in the “NXT TakeOver: In Your House”. Moreover, the pop sensational Poppy also hinted that another iconic wrestler will be making its appearance in the event. The event is scheduled to take place on Sunday, 13th June 2021 at the WWE Performance Center Venue in Orlando, Florida. In last week episode of NXT, a triple threat match took place between Johnny Gargano, Kyle O’Reilly and Pete Dunne.
The winner of that match was supposed to face Karrison Kross in the upcoming NXT championship, however, the outcome of the match did not come out as expected due to the intervention of Adam Cole. Adam individually attacked all three wrestlers and totally shifted the whole plot of the match. Kross was seen confronting Cole and also making a request to William Regal, the NXT General Manager to defend the title against the three of them.
Regal eventually agreed to the request of Kross and later made the session a lethal five-way match for ht title at the NXT Championships event. Meanwhile, we also saw Raul Mendoza and Joaquin Wilde challenging MSK and Bronson Reed to defend the title of the NXT North American Title as well as for the Tag Team Titles. Challenges are part of life and especially the part of WWE, thus, MSK and Reed accepted the challenge without any hesitation.
Moreover, on the 25th May 2021, outside the Capitol Wrestling Center, we saw ember Moon challenging Raquel Gonzalez for the NXT Women’s Championship title, which the latter gladly accepted without any hesitation. On the same day, we saw Mercedes Martinez defetign Zayda Ramier. Thereafter, we saw that Xia Li along with Boa was watching a video of her first-round against Martinez. Four years ago, Xia was defeated by Martinez and she was seen saying that the loss bought disgrace to her family, however, this time she is ready payback Martinex for all the insults she faced because of losing that match.
However, Martinez was seen prepared in advance and she even claimed that she is not afraid of Li and would break her at the TakeOver: In Your House. Earlier, we discussed that Poppy was seen saying that a former WWE Champion will soon be makign her appearance in the “WWE NXT TakeOver”. Later, she revealed that Lo Shirai, the former NXT Women’s Champion will once again be coming back to claim the title of “WWE NXT Women’s Title”. Stay tuned with us.
