The Calcutta University (CU) has recently announced the result for B Com honours as well as B Com general programme for the students of semester-III. The result has been declared on the official website at wbresults.nic.in.

All the candidates who have appeared for the B Com honours and B Com general programme of third semester can check or download their result from the official website. In order to check your result, candidates have to enter their roll number then only you will be directed to your to result.

How to check Calcutta University Results?

Step 1: In order to check your result, candidates have to visit the official website at wbresults.nic.in

Step 2: On the homepage, click on in the result link BCom Semester Honours/General, 2018

Step 3: You will be directed to next login page where you have enter your credentials such as your roll number

Step 4: Enter your roll number correctly and click on ‘submit’ to complete the process.

Step 5: Your result will appear on the screen

Step 6: Save or Download your result and also take a printout of it for future reference.

As per to the sources, about 16,157 candidates who had appeared for the honours exam have cleared it creating a 100% pass percentage.

Also the result which has been released on the official site cannot be treated as mark sheet and the candidates will receive an official mark sheet from the university.

The Calcutta University BCom exam was held on the previous year that is on December 2018. In recent time CU has released the result for BA, BSc Part 1. The exams for the same were also conducted in December as well.

In the meantime, the varsity has started reviewing the admission aptitude in its general courses. CU has lately sent an announcement to every single college to brief about the consumption capability in general courses, months before the admission procedure took place.

The admission process in the CU is going to begin in the month of June. University of Calcutta had accepted the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) in the year 2017 under which candidates can select any optional paper from any discipline (within the BCom course).
