About CBSE:

CBSE is an education board which was first set up in Uttar Pradesh in 1921. It is the first educational board in India. Initially it was under the jurisdiction of Rajputana, Central India and Gwalior. In 1929, Indian government further set up an joint board along with Rajputana which was named as “ Board of High School and Intermediate education, Rajputana”. Finally in 1952 it was renamed as “Central Board of Secondary Education”.

Every year in spring season, board conducts examinations for both class 10th as well as class 12th. Apart from that initially CBSE Board also conducted AIEEE examinations all over India which is a competitive examination for the entrance in esteemed colleges like IITs, NITs etc for the course of B.Tech. But now AIEEE has been merged with IIT-JEE  and together it is named as JEEE-Main. Through JEE-Main one can get admission in colleges like IIT, NITs and other private colleges all over India.

CBSE is also involved in other streams like, CBSE also conducts Central Teachers eligibility test through which one can get job in various government school.
