A report published in a leading website says about the nuptial ceremony is, “Yes, they have finally decided to take the plunge”, a common friend confirms the news.
“It was always just a matter of time. They were always together and fortunately, once they were committed to each other, never once was there any doubt about them looking elsewhere. In fact when a stray article or two came occasionally about a split between them, both Geeta and Harbhajan used to have a hearty laugh around that”, the friend added further.
Now both luminaries families give their nod for the marriage which will be take place in 29th October.
As per report, “The celebrations would begin much in advance though,” the friend says.
“In true Punjabi tradition, the festivities would kick start with mehendi, followed by sangeet and ‘chooda’ ceremony, while leading to the big day. A weeklong event has been planned as the wedding in Jalandhar would be followed by a reception, which is expected to be held in New Delhi”. The sources added.
Currently, the actress Geeta is in London with her family, and planning her marriage ceremony. It will be a big fat Punjabi wedding, and hence there will be a largely incommunicado.
However, she would return by end of month and post she will reveal more plans about her marriage.
