The all-rounder Adam Schlesinger, notable for his work as a songwriter, bassist, drummer, record producer, keyboardist and guitarist is no more among us. A 52 years American singer and the father of two daughters has died due to some complications related to coronavirus at a hospital in upstate New York. He is one of the founders of many band groups including Ivy, Fountains of Wayne, and Tinted Windows. He has been granted from Emmy Award, Grammy Award, Ascap Music Award and also nominated from the prestigious Awards including Tony Award, Academy Award and Golden Globe Award. He was nominated for 10 Emmy Awards and managed to grab three of them.
One of his Bands Attorney said in the statement that “it was the open secret, he was admitted to the hospital for a week and also was on the ventilator due to the complications of COVID-19 but he was making little improvements from last week, but after some time he was unable to recover. He was truly a great father, son and friend. He was raised in New York and Montclair. Many of his friends handled their social media accounts to show console toward him. His friend and the confessional singer Chris Carraba said that he was a great person, and said I am unable to find the perfect words and said it was a trustable person and a good friend he also added that coronavirus is the dangerous disease but people are not taking it seriously, daily new cases and death can be seen. He says that it is tough to lock themself inside the house but lives are more important than anything. Take care of yourself. Rest in peace, my dear friend”.
Aline Brosh McKenna shared an incident on her Twitter handle and said “One day she, Jack and Rachel were in the writer’s room and said that they were talking about how someone famous suddenly gets died and leaves everything behind on this Adam commented that how everyone immediately comes only and shares some little interaction that they had with that famous personality on this Aline said she as a joke I said egobituary and she said it was the most interesting thing that she said and liked by Adam in past 25 years. She said that he was her husband’s roommate and adds that he was most clever, most funny, most intelligent, most brilliant and at the end said I would always miss you”.
