Famous TikTok star Amir Siddiqui’s account was suspended yesterday due to the allegation of spreading violence in the society but the latest news around the internet is that the account is reactivated again after a-day suspension but he has pledged that he will not use his account and post any video until his younger brother and another TikTok sensation’s account is not reactivated. As we are aware that Amir’s account was deactivated because he posted a video on his TikTok account that was out of TikTok’s guidelines. It was about how TikTok is better than YouTube and he used some words that should not be said by the TikTok star about YouTubers and the reason behind the deactivation of Faizal’s account was the video that claimed to spread uncertainty in the society. He posted a video where he was promoting an acid attack on girls after getting a rejection.
Faizal’s account was suspended on 19th May, after uploading that video he faced critics by the netizens. The chairperson of the National Commission of Women, Rekha Sharma, also asked TikTok official to deactivate the account of Faizal.
When Amir was asked about it he said ” Yes, he has received his account back but will not use it until his brother Faizal’s account is not reactivated. They will fight the case legally and they know that the judiciary would help them because they didn’t do anything wrong and they have proof. He added to say that he doesn’t know who is behind all of this and what they want. They are editing their old videos and cropping them, that spreads the wrong message in the society and now claiming a wrong allegation against them. Director Noor Siddiqui has lodged an f.I.R against Amir Siddiqi. He said that Amir sent him a threat and hatred messages.
The battle between TikTok and YouTube is not going to over soon. Netizens are demanding a ban on TikTok and alleging that it is spreading uncertainty in society.
