We are here with a piece of good news for the fans of Ghostbusters series, the wait is going to be over after a long while as the third instalment of the series is ready to come pretty soon. The last series was released in the 80s and after around three-decades, the crew is back with the third sequel of the series. As we all know the previous seasons were directed by Ivan Reitman but this time he will be returning as the producer while his son Jason Reitman would be in the charge of directing Ghostbusters 3. There is given everything about the supernatural comedy series. The new cast for the series has been announced in May 2019.

Ivan revealed in an interview that ” It is like a passing of the torch for his son to continue this series. He also said that he dreamt to make films for its admirers and would not be the reboot of Ghostbuster. It will be the next chapter and would be set up in today’s generation and nothing is related to 80s. Ivan said that there would be a new cast for the spin-off. The 2016’s reboot film’s actress Leslie Jones would not be a part of this series. It is really disappointing news for the actress too as she felt insulted.
