The Indian politician J. Anbazhagam, the lawmaker of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam got died of COVID-19 while undergoing the treatment of coronavirus at Rela Institute & Medical Center in Chromepet of Chennai on 10th June 2020. We tell you, today he turned 62 years of age and passed away on his own birthday. As per the latest reports, he had the complaint of acute respiratory distress and admitted to the hospital on 2nd June where he was tested positive for COVID-19. On Monday, his health got worsen and today in the morning he passed away. He is the first legislator of Tamilnadu who got died due to coronavirus.

As per the reports of the hospital, J. Anbazhagham was admitted to the hospital due to COVID-19, his health got worst in the morning today, in spite of all the medical facilities he couldn’t survive and declared died at 8:55 AM by the hospital authority. Doctors said “his condition was not good throughout his journey and taken to the ventilator. At the point, he was required lesser oxygen where they thought that he was recovering but he had much health issues” J. Anbazhagam was the three-time MLA of 2001,2011, and 2016. In 2001, he was elected from T Nagar constituency of Chennai. In 2006 he lost and moved to Chepauk in 2011.

He has also tried his hand in the film industry as a producer and distributor. He produced the film of 2013 titled ‘Ameerin Aadhi-Bhagavan’. It was the Tamil language film that was written & directed by Ameer. The Chief Minister of Tamilnadu, E Palani Swami and the chief of DMK MK Stalin presented the condolence of J.Anbazhagam’s family on the demise of the leader. DMK chief announced three days mourning with the half-mast flag of DMK. All the events of the party have been delayed.
