Indian dancer and Choreographer and the prominent television personality Mayuri Upadhya is missing to be on her dance reality show that she used to judge before the pandemic. She made her television debut as the judge on Dancing Stars season 2, which was premiered in 2009. She is quite emotional these days and the reason is none other than this pandemic. We all know the current situation of the world that everyone is sitting inside the home and avoiding going out. In many places of the country, the shooting work has started but still, there are some states that are not allowing to start the shoot and going out of the home. Mayuri has judged dance reality shows Dancing Stars season 2 Master Dance.
The dancer got emotional and shared a clip still from the show and some throwback pictures. In the picture, we can also see her co-judges Chandan Shetty and Shruti Hariharan. We can notice in the picture that Mayuri is commenting one of the contestants and Shruti Hariharan is listening to her carefully while Chandan is looking to the contestant who has performed. She also shared a beautiful note that starts ” She was seen as the advanced and International judge on the show. She said people used to wait for her that when she would use the phrase, such as ‘Chindi Chirtranna’, ‘Boondi Mosranna’. It became catchphrase for her and when she says it they used to celebrate the moment as she has given 10 on 10 to the contestant.
She has done many popular projects that include Bollywood as well. Dancing Star was her first show as the judge. The show was based on the American show named Dancing With The Stars. Television personality Elena Petrova and Radio Presenter Dimitar Pavlov were the hosts of the show.
The show used to invite couples and they all had a high occupation such as Music teacher, television personality, Tv host, singer, journalist, fashion model, psychologist, sports person among others.
