The 2019 American disaster film ‘Crawl‘ has been directed by Alexandre Aja and produced by Sam Raimi, Alexandre Aja and Craig J.Flores. The disaster horror film is written by Michael Rasmussen and Shawn Rasmussen, that was starring Kaya Scodelario in the role of Haley Kellar, Berry Pepper in the role of Dave Keller the father of Haley and Beth, Morfydd Clark in the role of Beth Kellar who is Haley’s sister and Dave’s older daughter, Ross Anderson in the role of Wayne Taylor who is a policeman and also Beth’s ex-boyfriend.
The film was released on 12th July 2019 in the theatres of United States of America by Paramount Pictures. The film was praised by the audience and as well as critics and earned $91.5 Million worldwide while the budget of the film was $13.5 Million. It was really a huge collection. Haley Keller, a swimmer receives a phone call from her sister Beth who tells her about the category 5 Hurricane Wandey that is on the way to contact with Florida and apprises her to leave the state asap. Haley is concerned about the safety of her father Dave because he is not answering her calls. She goes against the instruction of Florida police and drives every evacuation place to find out her father.
Firstly, she goes to the Condo where they have been living since her parents divorced but she didn’t find anyone there except her pet dog Sugar. She is worried to think that he has gone to their house in the Coral Lake which they have sold before years ago. Finally, she and her dog reach to the location of their house in Coral Lake and find the truck of Dave and inside the house upstairs gets her father wounded and unconscious.
