The most anticipated song from the most predictable movie has been out. The second song of Vijay’s upcoming movie ‘Master’ has been released. The film’s video is expected to be launched on 15th March. The song is titled “Vaathi Coming” it is a party anthem of sorts with a heavy orchestra of blow instruments. It has been a true blue Kuthu song (Tamil folk number) from composer Anirudh Ravichander. Behind-the-scenes visuals ensure highly-energetic performances from Vijay and his supporting dancers. The video also features Anirudh’s performance, who lets his hair down to his foot-tapping beats.
The first song of the movie Master “Kutti Story” that was released earlier became a huge hit. Sung by Vijay, the lyrical video has earned 30 million views since its took place on YouTube. The music album of Master will release on March 15. The event has been decided to telecast live on Sun TV from 6:30 pm onwards. However, according to the latest reports, the event would not be as grand as it was expected earlier. The makers are set to define the size of the crowd, as we know huge gathering increases the chances of covid-19.
This song titled “Vaathi Coming” has been written by Gana Balachandar, a notable member of the Tamil indie music band from The Casteless Collective. The new track has been performed together by Gana Balachandar and its composer Anirudh Ravichander. Gana Balachandar is well-known for songs like “Jithu Jilladi” from Vijay’s Theri, that he has also sung along with ‘Thenisai Then.
“Vaathi” is short for vaathiyar, meaning teacher in Tamil. The song is a light number and also has clips of dance sequences being choreographed while the shoot of the film. Gana Balachandar and Anirudh can also be captured dancing in the video. Master, featuring Vijay, Vijay Sethupathi, Malavika Mohanan, Arjun Das, Andrea and Shanthnu Bhagyaraj is being produced by Xavier Britto, under the XB Film Creators banner. Lalit Kumar and Jagadish Palanisamy are the film’s co-producers.
It is worth that Vijay has frequently grown media-shy in recent years. He has narrowed his interaction with fans and media only to music release events, where he makes rich speeches. For hardcore fans, it is an occasion where their favorite star, who is naturally very conserved, comes alive with funny banter and ‘kutti’ stories.
