“The Farmer Wants A Wife” is an extremely entertaining and likable reality TV show of Australia and is originally an adaptation of the famous reality show of Britain with the same name. What makes this reality dating game show different from others is its unique concept, in which a number of farmers are introduced to numerous women from the city, from whom they fancy one to be their spouse. Recently, the show was renewed for the second season in August 2020 by Seven Network, thus, making it the 11th season that aired on 4th July 2021, Sunday.
The current season of the reality show was hosted by the popular Australian Television presenter, Natalie Gruzlewski and consisted of a total of 12 episodes. Moreover, the show was produced under the production banner of Fremantle Australia and Eureka Production. The last and final episode of this series, that is, “Episode 12” aired on 21st July 2021, Wednesday at around 7:30 PM. The overnight rating of the last episode was recorded to be around 853K views and was ranked 6th.

In the Eleventh Sereis (2021), we saw four farmers who went on the journey of finding their spouses. The 39-year old Sheep and Cattle farmer, Will from Longwood town, 26-year old, Beef and Fodder farmer, Matt from Orbost, a 25-year-old farmer from Orange, NSW, 30-year old Sheep farmer, Andrew from Delegate town and 40-year-old Sheep and cattle farmer, Rob from Snowy mountains town participated in the show.
In the finale, we saw that Farmer Andrew tells Ash that he loves someone else and that someone is none other than but Jess. He was later seen confessing his love for Jess by revealing that he had fallen head over heal in love Jess. Even after the show, the duo was seen together, however, their Instagram post put a confirmation to that. Andrew took over his Instagram account, “@farmerandrewau” and shared a picture of him and Jess kissing each other.
Along with the picture, he wrote that participating in the FWAW was one of the most challenging tasks for him, especially mentally, as it pushed him to his limit. The 30-year-old sheep farmer further stated, he is not good at talking about his emotions, and even worse at expressing them. He has also been like this.
However, he said that he has always believed that destiny plays a major role in everyone’s life and no one can prepare themselves for what they are about to go through. He stated that he met so many incredible people along his journey in FWAW. He found many new friends and at the same time made some great memories. Referring to Jess, Andrew continued, the whole experience was hard but not bad, as he met one of the most beautiful human beings.
He wrote about the lightning bolt moment which he never experienced until he met the love of his life. He ended by saying, “Love you, babe.” Meanwhile, we saw that Matt chooses Tara despite the fact that she might abandon their kids and farm animals in future if things get tough for them. They although did not release an after statement regarding their relationship status, unlike Andrew and Jess.
