Latest News: Mukesh Ambani Says ‘JIO Offer’ Won’t Be Free After March 3rd 2018

Reliance Chairman Mukesh Ambani on Tuesday thanked all its Jio customers for a killer response in the last six months. The Jio has crossed 100-million customers mark in just 170 days.Jio was launched on September 5, 2016.

At Reliance Jio Digital event, Ambani said, “Seven customers added every second since launch.” According to the data recorded, users consumed over 100 crores GB data more than 3.3 crore GB per day making India the number one country in mobile data usage.

“Jio carries 5.6 crore hours of video daily on its network and has more than double the number of 4G stations when compared to the other Indian operators,” Ambani said.

Making the future announcement of the event, on all of Jio’s tariff plans, all voice calls to any network will remain free. No roaming charges will be applicable as there won’t be black out days. It will match the highest selling tariff of other operators and provide 20-30 percent more data than other operators provide.

Jio company will also provide Prime Memberships starting this 1st March. The customers can stay up for this membership at Rs 99 and can continue enjoying unlimited for another 12 months.Jio Prime Members can get this value at an introductory price of only Rs 303/month, just Rs 10/day.
