After its original release in 2016, Pokémon Go became a huge success and now it is celebrating its five years of accomplishment. Niantic, the software development company that has developed and published Pokemon Go has made the announcement on Thursday to launch a two-day virtual event which will be held in July this year.
Now in the latest development to the event, it has been announced that this year the Pokemon Go Fest 2021 is going to host a music festival as well where the trainers will have to put up a concert show. The event is going to host a number of special events; however, the trainers will not have to buy any ticket in order to participate in this year fest. In addition to that, the Pokemon Go team has also joined hands with the Google Play as their special event sponsor.
Pokemon Go Fest 2021: Date & Time
This online event is going to be similar to the virtual Go Fest event which was held back in 2020 and now it is back with Pokemon Go Fest 2021. This two-day virtual event is going to commence on 17th July 2021 and is going to carry on till July 18, 2021. Talking about its scheduled time, the Pokemon Go Fest 2021 event is going to begin from 10:00 AM local time and is going to continue till 6:00 PM Local Time.
The event is going to mark the 25th anniversary of Pokémon while the fifth anniversary of the popular AR game Pokémon GO. This the two-day event is going to feature special costumed Pikachu, along with a chance to get a new Mythical creature as well.
Pokemon Go Fest 2021: Ticket Price
While announcing the event on Thursday, Niantic has also revealed that the price of the ticket for this year fest has been cut down and this announcement has made the fans very existed. Compared to the last year fest ticket price which was priced at $14.99 has been now dropped down majorly leaving its price to cost at only $5. The upcoming event is also going to be different from previous fest events and only single ticket is going to let the trainers to take part in both the days of this event.
Pokemon Go Fest 2021 Musical Concert
The first day of the Pokemon Go Fest 2021 is going to feature 4 themed habitat hours such as Jungle, Cave, Ocean Beach, and Desert Mountain. The event will also include some Pokemon that are related to music like Kricketot, Audino, etc. and more. On the second day of the upcoming event i.e. on July 18, it is mainly going to focus on raids, featuring all the Pokemon that have appeared on first day of the fest on July 17. All the fans who will hold the ticket of the event will get the access to the music festival. In addition to that, Junichi Masuda, who is the music producer of Pokemon has also created some amazing new tracks for the upcoming Pokemon Go Fest 2021.
