The very popular smartphone brand in India, Xiaomi, has previously made the announcement in March where they stated that Redmi Note series devices are going to bring a latest updates and massive upgrades to its most of its popular affordable phones such as Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max.
Both the models are promised to get bigger upgrades as compared to their older models version. The best part is that all such upgrade is going to arrive without any much increase in the prices.
However, the sale of the Redmi Note 9 Pro started in March, but the schedule for the launch of these upgraded devices was delayed due to sudden coronavirus outbreak which also leads to imposition of lockdown in the whole nation from March 25.
But now there’s good news, Redmi Note 9 Pro Max has revealed its first sale date and the phone were launched in India together with the Redmi Note 9 Pro in the month of March.
The reselling of the smartphones in the country by Xiaomi has recently started, and now it has declared the date of its first sale for the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max. It has also reviewed the price of the phone because of the recent increment in GST rate from 12 per cent to now at 18 per cent.

The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max runs MIUI 11, based on Android 10, and is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC. The phone features a 6.67-inch full-HD+ (1080×2400 pixels) with IPS display having an aspect ratio of 20:9. It comes with up to 8 GB LPDDR 4X RAM and has 64 GB and has internal storage options of 128 GB of UFS 2.1 and both of which are also expandable through microSD card (up to 512 GB) with the help of a dedicated slot. The newly launched smartphone will comes with a 5,020 mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.
As far as the pricing of Redmi Note 9 Pro Max is considered, it will go on sale with an increase of Rs. 1,500, starting from Rs. 16,499 for the storage variant of 6GB + 64GB. For the 6GB + 128GB storage model, the price of the model is starting at Rs. 17,999 and Rs. 19,999 for the storage variant of 8GB + 128GB.
The smartphone is also going to be available in various color options such as Aurora Blue, Glacier White, and Interstellar Black colour options. On the other hand, Airtel is also offering double data benefits for the customers who will buy the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max from Mi.com and Amazon.in.
