As per the reports of the ABS-CBN News, the whole accident happened on 4th February 2022 on Friday at around 1 AM where the actor named Diether was in his SUV which he was driving along the southbound lane of the highway when he collided into a garbage truck. The garbage truck was temporarily diverted along the side of the street while its men were gathering the trash and then the whole accident happened at the spot.

After that, the Philippine Red Cross brought the injured actor to Makati Medical Center right away with the help of a stretcher and the hood of the SUV of Diether and bumper were harmed after the collision happened on the spot. As per the reports of the Teleradyo as quoted by Inquirer News responder named Joey Alicante stated that Diether seemed like he was resisting to be carried to the hospital by the Red Cross personnel and in the hospital, he is under the observation of many doctors.
