The Czech based automobile company, Skoda is all set to launch their brand new compact sedan Rapid on November 3, 2016, in India. The brand new Skoda Rapid is expected to be the European version of the Rapid, and with the new model, it will join the e latest version of Octavia and Superb.
Meanwhile, the new version of the Skoda has all new cosmetic design and its look is much familiar with the recent lineup of vehicles including its first SUV model Kodiaq. The new Skoda Rapid has style butterfly grille, new front bumper, updated headlamps, new rear bumper, new sculpted bonnet, and rear spoiler. The edgier headlight design is the most attractive part of the new Rapid.
The company has also introduced some changes in the the interior of the car with a plush cabin space with new leather upholstery. The Skoda Rapid will be launched in both 1.6-litre MPI four-cylinder petrol engine and an updated 1.5-litre TDI diesel engine. The new sedan has other features like automatic headlamps along with auto dimming IRVM, rain sensing wipers, Brake Assist (BA), dual front airbags & ABS as standard along with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Hill Hold Control, a new touchscreen MirrorLink infotainment system, reverse parking sensors with camera, automatic headlamps along with auto dimming IRVM, rain sensing wipers.
Meanwhile, the petrol engine will produce 103bhp and 153Nm peak torque. On the other side, the diesel engine will produce 108 bhp with a peak torque of 250Nm. The brand new Skoda Rapid is expected to be priced between the Rs. 8 Lakhs and Rs. 12 Lakhs (Ex-showroom).
The dealers have started the booking the new Skoda Rapid and one can easily book it by just paying the Rs. 1 lakh.
