The family drama “Srimanthudu” released worldwide on August 7 and has turned out to be a blockbuster by earning approximately Rs 50 crore in its first weekend. The petite actress Shruthi Hasan essays the role of the leading man Mahesh Babu’s love interest and the veteran Telugu actor Jagapathy Babu also played an important role in the movie.

On release day, the film raked in a whopping Rs 31 crore”.

“Srimanthudu” is a Telugu film, which dubbed in Tamil and was released simultaneously with its original version, which is the first ever for a Mahesh Babu’s film. Very soon “Srimanthidu’s” Hindi version will also release.
The Prince will be next seen in Brahotsavam, which will be a bilingual film. The actress Samantha, who has acted with Mahesh Babu in two films, will be pairing with the hero for the third time.
