Rocky Handsome is an upcoming 2016 Indian action thriller film directed by Nishikant Kamat. It features John Abraham and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles. It is a loose adaptation of the 2010 Korean film The Man from Nowhere. John Abrahim role says that For those that don’t want to know him he is Deadly, Dangerous or Rocky. For his only friend, he is Handsome. His past is mysterious. When his friend is taken away from him he goes to war with a vengeance.
The poster, which shows a scared Diya clutching John’s gun-toting character, explains the actor’s use of the signature tags for describing Rocky Handsome on social media – ‘Action’, ‘Emotion’ and ‘Protector’.
John, who was last seen in 2016’s Wazir starring Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar, is currently busy filming Rohit Dhawan’sDishoom. His upcoming projects also include Housefull 3, Hera Pheri 3 and Force 2.
