The Tamil film “144” is ready to hit theater this week. The film is touted as much awaited comic movie, it will be definitely kick out your stress. The comedy film has been directed by Manikandan and produced by C. V. Kumar. The film features Shiva, Ashok Selvan, Oviya and Sruthi Ramakrishnan in the lead roles. “144” movie music is composed by Sean Roldan. The theme of the film is inspired by Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code, which is often used by administrators to maintain law and order in a trouble-torn place. Shiva plays role of a local jewel thief while Ashok Selvan portray role of an illegal car racer.

Producer C.V.Kumar of Thirukumaran Entertainments ventures producing this comedy genre movie. Last he produced blockbuster movie “Mundasupatti”, which is again, comic genre movie. The film is directed by G.Manikandan who is making his directorial debut with the movie.
Music and soundtracks of the melodrama composed by Sean Roldan, whose previous work shown in the movie “Vaayai Moodi Pesavum”.
Regarding the movie “144” which is totally a fiction story, nothing to do with real life. Its director Manikandan says to media, that, “I’m sure most of us would have come across instances when Section 144 was enforced for a few hours or at the most, a few days. But then, there are rural areas where cops stay permanently to ensure that there is no disagreement between two factions”.
