Carabao Cup 2021-22: Fixtures Schedule Dates Draw Results And Odds

The 2021-22 English Football League (EFL), famously known as Carabao Cup has already begun on 31st July 2021, and the football fans are excitingly waiting for this match awaited tournament this time. Well, there are primarily two reasons for this, the first being obvious which is that all clubs who participated in the English football league, as well as Premier League, are eligible to take part in this competition. The winner of the Carabao Cup 2021-22 will also be qualified for the play-off round of UEFA Europa 2022-23.   • First Round- 10th August to 11th August 2021
  • Second Round- 24th August to 25th August 2021
  • Third Round: 21st September to 22nd September 2021
  • Fourth round- 26th October to 27th September 2021
  • Quarter-Finals- 21st December to 22nd December 2021
  • Semi-Finals- 1st Leg: 4th to 5th January 2022, 2nd Leg:11th to 12th January 2022
  • Final: 27th February 2022

Fixtures (Third Round)

The first round in the Carabao Cup 2021-22 has already been wrapped up and currently, we are in the second round of this competition. A total of 70 clubs entered in the first round of which 24 clubs were from the EFL League two, 24 clubs from the EFL league one, while the remaining 22 clubs were from the EFL championship. A total of 35 games were played in this round.

The second round is almost about to end on 25th August 2021, which initially began on 24th August. In this round, a total of 50 clubs took part of which 2 clubs were from the EFL Championship, 13 Premier League clubs while the rest 35 were the winner from the 1st round. In this round, a total of 25 matches were played.

The third round will be commencing from 21st September and be ending 22nd September 2021. A total of 32 clubs will enter in this round of which 25 of them will be the winner from the 2nd round while the remaining 7 will be the premier league clubs. A total of 16 games will be played in this round.

Draw

Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester City, West Ham United, Leicester City and Manchester United Tottenham Hotspur are the name of the respective clubs that will be entering the 3rd round because of their participation in the 2021-22 UEFA champions league, Europa League as well as in Europa Conference League.

The draw for the third round will be made on 25th August 2021, Wednesday LIVE on Sky Sports, followed by the end of the second round draw between Arsenal and West Bromwich Albion. TV personality, Mark Wright will be presenting the draw while former English professional footballer, Micah Richards and former English football manager, Harry Redknapp will be making the draw.
