The storyline of The Fate of the Furious revolves around Johnson’s US Diplomatic Security Agent Luke Hobbs creating an implausible association with Statham’s Deckard Shaw.

Previously, the movie was scheduled to release on 26 July 2019 but now the date has been postponed and now the release date of Hobbs & Shaw is 2nd August 2019.
It will be the same day on which Fox’s also delayed X-Men spin-off New Mutants will get release. The same release date will put the movie against Hobbs & Shaw.
