Recently, a promo was aired on Sony TV that airs the singing reality show, Indian Idol 13. On Thursday evening the viewers of Sony TV watched a promo that shows Amit visiting the show’s set followed by the contestants singing some of the iconic songs of Kishore Da. Nevertheless, Amit Kumar also croons a hymn of his song Keh Do Ki Tum from Tezaab after Bidipta’s performance.
However, last year when he visited the show as a special guest he told that he was asked to praise the performers no matter how they performed. Amit Kumar said, “I did what I was told, I was told sabko praise kamana hai. I was told jo jaise bhi gaaye usko uplift karna hai because it’s a tribute to Kishore Da.” He said that he thought it was a homage to my father.
