Super Singh is touted to be the first ever Punjabi language superhero film, which will be directed produced by Balaji Telefilms with whom Diljit already worked in Udta Punjab. “It has been a great journey with Balaji and after Udta Punjab, us coming together for Super Singh makes it all the more special,” Diljit said in a statement to various media regarding his movie.
Anurag says the shooting was wrapped up and he also said to the various media group that, “Shooting a superhero film and that too with Diljit, we had a lot of nuances that we had to get right and then a tight schedule. The entire unit came together like a family and we managed to complete the film ahead of the schedule”.
The director is also getting ready to direct Akshay Kumar in the first Salman Khan and the Dharma co-production joint film. The film “Super Singh” is ready to hit this summer.
Diljit will be seen tonight singing a song at the stage of the Rising Star to set the stage on fire and he will be seen singing the song only to give tribute to the mothers who lose their sons in the 1984 riot.
This episode of the show Rising Star will actually bring tears on the people’s eyes and the episode will be also the emotional one.
