In the singing TV, reality Show Rising Star Season 2, the panel judge team, which includes, Shankar, Monali, Diljit alongside the contestants give an entertaining tribute to special guest Govinda and the legendary actor and dancer Govinda also shake legs with the kids.
The opening of the episode begins with all the three judges – Diljit Dosanjh, Shankar Mahadevan, and Monali Thakur crooning hit tracks of Govinda which includes, the songs like, Mobile Number, Kendi Po, and Mere Pyaar ka rass zara chakna. Soon post the grand introduction, the participants begin singing Govinda’s chartbusters number.

The first aspiring singer Shashank crooned the quirky number Mein toh raste se jaa raha tha which garnered him huge accolades from the judges and audience. He received 85 percent in the live voting.
Now another singer Mamta Raut sang another energetic number of the actor Govinda Prem Jaal and got 88 percent of votes and the singer Shankar Mahadevan also shared the stage with them.
Recognized for her antics, contestant Vishnumaya impressed everyone singing this song, Tu Mera Hero No 1 and she received 88 percent, she also got the standing ovation from the panel judge team.

Aafreen Group known for their deadly fusion and they sung the mashup of suno sasurjee and UP wala thumka. They received 87 percent alongside a tutari from Shankar Mahadevan.
To make the episode more entertaining, host Ravi Dubey also organized a Govinda Quiz that was quite a funny one. In between the episode, popular Bollywood celebs Jennifer Winget and Harshad Chopra also arrived to promote their forthcoming show Bepannaah.

Hemant Brijwasi sang the funny track Chachunder ke sar pe and impressed with his amazing performance. He received the highest votes 93 percent, Hemant got a big break for doing playback singing for his forthcoming Bollywood movie Soorma which stars Diljit Dosanjh and music of the movie is composed by the singing maestro the trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.
The last opponent Aman received 83 percent of votes but he got evicted from the show. The episode ended on an emotional note when Aman said bye to the show.
