Kings XI Punjab Team Will Change Their Name and Logo
The news of changing the logo and name of the team was raised by the team captain where he teased that they are going to do something interesting and exciting for their teams and they will do this on the eve of Auction. Also, the official Twitter handle of the Kings XI Punjab tweeted a tweet in which they mentioned that “THIS IS OUR LAST TWEET! Thank you @Twitter and Sadde fans! #SaddaPunjab,” and this tweet was shared by the KXIP handle team on the eve of Wednesday and along with this, on the official Instagram handle of KXIP the profile picture in which the logo is placed gets removed, so after seeing this it clear that something big will is on its way.
As per the statement of Satish Menon who is the CEO of Kings XI Punjab where he talks about the new logo and name of the teams and in the statement he said that “Punjab Kings is a more evolved brand name, and we understand it was a right time for us to move focus on the core brand itself”. In addition to this, he tells the fans of the teams that “The change in brand identity is not about changing our brand ethos but celebrating our oneness as we stand in a unit like a family. The new logo honours the liveliness and vibrancy of the brand and provides modern elements, while we stand out from the rest of the teams”.
Talking about the owner and co-owner of the teams then the owner of this brilliant and tremendous team is Bollywood actress Preity Zinta, and the team is co-owned by Mohit Burman, Ness Wadia, and Karan Paul and also, the owner Preity Zinta teased through her official social media handles about the changing if logo and name of the team.
The team was in the IPL for 13-years and to the date, the team didn’t secure any winning in the whole year but in the year 2014, the team secured the title of first runners-up and in the year 2008, the team safe their place at the third position and as we all know that, the previous season of IPL was incredible where the captain if the team Rahul shows and incredible and amazing performance which was hosted in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
