On Tuesday, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) India has finally launched the most-waited Range Rover Sport SVR in the Indian market. One must take note that this is the updated or latest version of Range Rover Sport SVR that has been launched in the country with a price tag of Rs 2.19 crore (ex-showroom).
This newly launched SUV from JLR is considered to be one of the fastest and most powerful Land Rovers that have been ever produced by the company. The Special Vehicle Operations team from Jaguar Land Rover has engineered, designed as well as developed this luxury and powerful performance SUV.
The lightweight and strong architecture of Range Rover Sport has been made of all-aluminum, and it promises to offer a luxurious drive experience along with effortlessly dealing with the challenges further than the tarmac. The newly launched SUV features a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 petrol engine that offers extreme power while delivering 575 hp and 700 Nm torque. The coolest feature about this SUV’s engine is that it can easily accelerate from 0 to 100 kph in just 4.5 seconds of time.
Talking about its exterior, the Range Rover Sport SVR is brilliantly designed in such a way that its exterior also helps in improving its overall performance. It comes with a bumper design along with the vents which has been updated and it helps in improving the brake cooling.
At the duration of more engaging drives, the company has claimed of the improved performance of its brake pads and discs, particularly at higher temperatures. At the rear of this SUV, its body has received a colored detailing along with an SVR badge that helps in spotting the SVR very easily.

As of now, the Land Rover range available in the Indian market consists of the Range Rover Evoque with the initial price of Rs 59.04 lakh, and then the Discovery Sport with Rs 65.30 lakh starting price. The other three Land Rover range options in the Indian market are Defender 110, Range Rover Sport and the Range Rover which are available at the in initial price of Rs 83.38 lakh, Rs 91.27 lakh, and Rs 2.10 crore respectively. Now, this latest Range Rover Sport SVR is going to be available in India for the starting price of Rs 2.19 crore (ex-showroom).
