A new basketball competition is starting to commence and that is Rwanda Basketball League 2021, which is a National Basketball League that is played in Rwanda, East Africa. Within few hours we are going to watch two professional basketball teams to have a face-off on 19th June 2021. Shoot For The Stars vs RP IPRC Musanze Preview
The upcoming season of National Basketball League is considered to be one of the top professional basketball leagues which is played in Rwanda, country in East Africa. Most commonly, its new season arrives every year starting from November and concluding in the month of September. However, this time due to covid-19, the series was pushed forward and it is commencing now. The teams that gets successful in the NBL season get the chance to qualify for the Basketball Africa League (BAL) qualifiers as well.
The on-going basketball league is featuring 14 teams in total currently, and out of these many are from the Kigali which is the Rwanda’s capital. As of now, the team Patriots BBC has the upper hand which won the previous 2019-20 season and is the current champion of NBL. This team has won three back-to-back championships and is also the defending champion for this season as well.
In the upcoming match of Rwanda Basketball League 2021, we are going to see Shoot For The Stars competing against RP IPRC Musanze on Saturday. They will begin their competition at 2:30 PM, as per IST on June 19. Team STFC is the basketball club from Kigali, Rwanda’s Capital, while MUS is the basketball club from Ruhengeri. For this upcoming match, it will be interesting to see which team among STFC and MUS will be victorious in this combat. Now, talking about the last season i.e. 2019-20, the club Patriots were the winner while REG was the runner-up and their final scores were 76-61.
