At the Flash Forum on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, the UFC Fight Night took place on July 26, 2020. This mixed martial arts event was produced by the Ultimate Fighting Championship and were the fourth as well as the final UFC Fight Island event that was held on Yas Island.
The event headliner was the middleweight fight match between former UFC Middleweight Champion Robert Whittaker and former UFC Welterweight Championship challenger Darren Till. Main Card Matches
Middleweight
The most anticipated and the event headliner was Robert Whittaker vs Darren Till bout. This was a five-round bout which was won by Robert Whittaker with 48-47, 48-47, 48-47.
Light Heavyweight
This bout took place between former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Maurício and Antônio Rogério Nogueira. This pair has met earlier at PRIDE Critical Countdown 2005 and UFC 190, where Rua won both the fights. In this match as well Maurício Rua got success by defeating Antônio Rogério Nogueira with(29-28, 28-29, 29-28).
Heavyweight
With the Submission, Fabrício Werdum made a win in this bout by defeating Alexander Gustafsson in the Heavyweight match.
Women’s Strawweight
The women’s strawweight bout was held between former Invicta FC and UFC Women’s Strawweight Champion Carla Esparza and Marina Rodriguez. The match was scheduled nine days earlier but after one of Rodriguez’s cornermen tested positive for coronavirus, the match was canceled and was postponed. Carla Esparza defeated Marina Rodriguez (28-29, 29-28, 30-27).
Light Heavyweight
In the Light Heavyweight, Paul Craig was scheduled to bout against Gadzhimurad Antigulov. Paul Craig was successfully able to make Gadzhimurad Antigulov submission through the triangle choke and won the match.
Welterweight
For the Welterweight weight class matches, there were two different bouts i.e., Alex Oliveira vs Peter Sobotta and Khamzat Chimaev vs Rhys McKee. In these matches, Alex Oliveira achieved victory with (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) and Khamzat Chimaev with TKO won the match.
Preliminary Card Matches
Catchweight (160 lb)
The match took place in three rounds and Francisco Trinaldo and Jai Herbert were the competitors for this weight class match. In the end, Francisco Trinaldo achieved victory with TKO (punches).
Welterweight
The bout was held between Jesse Ronson and Nicolas Dalby. With a rear-naked choke, Jesse Ronson achieved success by making Nicolas Dalby for Submission.
Heavyweight
The match took place in one round between Tom Aspinall and Jake Collier and with TKO (punches) Tom Aspinall won this weight class match.
Bantamweight
In the Bantamweight match, Nathaniel Wood competed against John Castañeda and the match took place in three rounds. In the end, Nathaniel Wood achieved victory with (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).
Women’s Bantamweight
A women’s bantamweight bout was held between former title challenger Bethe Correia and Pannie Kianzad. This bout was earlier scheduled for the May 9 date of UFC 250 but was canceled and was played yesterday. In this match, Pannie Kianzad defeated Bethe Correia with (30-27, 30-27, 29-28).
