He labels the title by his name and he defeated opponents from 6-1, 6-3, 3-6, 6-1. After winning in the first round of US OPEN from Bradley Klahn, Sumit became the first Indian tennis player to win a match in the past 7 years. Sumit Nagal was born on 16th August 1997 in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. In 2015, he got the title of Wimbledon boys’ doubles with the Vietnamese partner named Lý Hoàng Nam, and they defeated Reilly Opelka and Akira Santillan, and then Sumit becomes the sixth Indian player who wins a junior Grand Slam title. Then he debuts in the Davis cup in 2016 but after that, he comes into controversy for misbehaving in the Davis cup. He secured the runner up title in Junior Asian Games which was in 2018. In 2019, he debuts himself in the Grand Slam main draw, he posted 20 times in this championship and after a lot of hard work and struggle, he secured the first round of the US Open in 2020.
