The topmost and popular car manufacturing company named Volkswagen India is planning to launch its brand new SUV Taigun and the company teased some information about the upcoming car on their social channel before the forthcoming launch. The video which was launched by the company shows that the SUV is in a production-ready avatar and also the video reveals all the designs of the vehicle. The company’s new model going to be a main and incredible model for the German automobile brand beneath its India 2.0 strategy and talking about the key specification and feature of the car then it supports the same MQB A0 IN platform. The same platform was in the Skoda Kushaq, which was launched in the Indian market on 28th June 2021, also, the MQB A0 IN platform is mainly designed and developed for the Indian market. Apart from this, it is quite a cheaper derivative of the enormously-talked MQB platform.
In the teaser video, it has shown that the forthcoming model of the company carries a grille of twin-slat chrome garnished radiator with the headlamps of the dual-lens projector and also contains daytime running lights of horizontal LED along with the skid plate of contrast painted. This model is quite identical with the previously launched Skoda Kushaq such as its platform and it is expected that it will also grab the dual-tone alloy wheels of 17-inch diamond-cut. The car also consists of taillights of wide LED with the antenna of shark-fin and on the rear bumper, it carries a chrome strip.
The video reveals the outer design and features of the car but it also reveals some of the interiors of the cabin such as that it contains a start-stop button for the genie which is placed in the centre console. It also supports an entrainment and information system of a 10-inch touchscreen with the support of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Apart from this, it also contains a sunroof with the technology of wireless charging with a cluster of digital instrument and front seats consist of ventilated with the feature of automatic climate control.
The car contains a total of six airbags with ABS and EBD along with ESC features of safety and as we mentioned earlier, the feature of the car is identical to the Kushaq as it also shares the engine of the same features. The engine contains a petrol engine of 1.0-litre TSI with a TSI unit of 1.5-litre and the output of the engine is the same which is in that of Skoda Kushaq. The car carries a transmission choice of VW Taigun which contains a manual 6-speed gearbox with an automatic 7-speed DSG unit. Stay tuned with us.
