She has recently given birth to her daughter back in 2018 and her exceptional performance at the trial event on Sunday has stunned everyone. In a matter of few seconds, Allyson Felix turned the whole race by leaving Wadeline Jonathas and Quanera Hayes and getting qualified for the American Olympic team for the upcoming event.

At the end of the race (400 meters) when Felix name was showed up in the second place, she was seen covering her face with her hands with joy and full of emotions. The 35-year-old track and field sprinter was named to her sixth Olympic team and this is going to be the first time that Allyson Felix will be joining the Olympic event as a mother.

Allyson Felix is a professional track and field sprinter from America, who is the only female to win six Olympic gold medals as a track and field athlete. Her full name is Allyson Michelle Felix and she was born on 18th November 1985 in Los Angeles, California (US). Paul (Father) and Marlean (Mother) are the parents of Allyson and her older brother is Wes Felix, who is also a sprinter and Allyson’s agent. She was graduated from University of Southern California and won the silver medal at the Summer Olympics in Athens in 2004 at the age of 18. It was her early career success and she won the silver medal for finishing second in a 200 meters race.

She has made her debut as the track and field sprinter in the year 2004 at the Athens Olympics. In her debut match itself, the sprinter won a silver medal. Felix is a part of the women relay teams in the United States and has won five more Olympic gold medals which she received in 2008-2016 (3 Medals), 2012 and 2016 (2 Medals) respectively. Even though 400 meters is her main event but she has also participated in the 100, 200, 400, 4×100, and 4×400 meter relay as well.

Among the male or female athletes, Felix is the most decorated player in the history of World Athletics Championships by winning18 lifetime medals along with 13 gold medals as well. Her biggest achievements at 200 meters are winning 2012 Olympic championship, 2004 and 2008 Olympic silver medallist, and also three times World champion (2005–2009). On the other hand, at 400 meters, her notable achievements are winning World champion in 2015, World silver medallist in 2011, Olympic silver medallist in 2016, and World bronze medallist in 2017.

Talking about her personal life, Allyson Felix has married to Kenneth Ferguson who is also a sprinter and hurdler from America. They both have a child together in 2018 and have named their daughter Camryn.
