Lenovo has announced a new smart phone with the name Vibe K5 and they are planning to launch this handset on 13th June. In the month of March Company also launched Lenovo K5 Plus at the pocket loving price of INR 8,499. Talking about Lenovo K5 then it bears similarity in looks with its kin Lenovo K5 Plus and has similar specs as well.
Lenovo Vibe K5 Specifications
Company has not revealed the price of this handset but we can expect them to divulge the details by Monday. It will be available in enticing colors like Platinum Silver, Champagne gold and Graphite Gray.
Lenovo K5 specs:
It sports 5” HD IPS Display with 720X1280p screen resolution and pixel density up to 293ppi. It means one can enjoy good picture quality on their 5” handset. It is powered by Octa core processor clocked at the clock frequency up to 1.4GHz and is based on Qualcomm Snapdrgaon 415 chipset. It incorporates adreno 405 GPU to augment the graphics. It is different with K5 Plus in the way that instead of Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 we had Snapdragon 415 in Lenovo K5.
It is bit disappointing to find that it still operates on dated android 5.1 Lollipop OS with no details regarding updates when its contemporaries are already coming up with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. It entails the combination of 2GB RAM with 16GB of storage on the board which can be further extended up to 32GB via MicroSD card slot.
It is a dual SIM smart phone that encompasses 13MP rear camera with LED Flash while on front it mounts 5MP selfie camera. Rear camera can record the videos in 1080p quality. On connectivity front it offers standard options like Wifi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth V4.1, GPS, 4G LTE etc. It also houses 2750mah battery which we hope to power the handset at least for a day with heavy usage.
To enhance the audios we have dolby atoms speakers and apart from that it also come up with 3.5mm ear jack as connectors and FM radio for the entertainment purpose. It measures 142x71x8.2mm in dimension and weighs 142grams.
