A new notification has been released by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) on their official website regarding the timetable for the compartment and improvement exams for the Indian School Certificate (ISC) as well as for the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE). In simple words, the CISCE has released a notification that indicates the schedule for the compartment and improvement examination for the Class 10th and Class 12th students. As per the notification, the exams for the same are commencing from 16th August 2021, which means, not much time is left and therefore, the students are required to prepared for the same.
ICSE & ISC Exam 2021: Compartment & Improvement Exams Date
For the students of Class 10, the improvement and compartment exams are commencing from 16th August 2021 and will be ending on 2nd September 2021. Meanwhile, for the students of Class 12, the examination for both the exams are taking place on 16th August 2021 and will end on 7th September 2021.
- Class X: Starting Date- August 16, 2021, Ending Date- September 2, 2021
- Class XII: Starting Date- August 16, 2021, Ending Date- September 7, 2021
ICSE & ISC Exam 2021: Compartment & Improvement Exams Timings
The compartment and improvement exam for Class 10th students will be carried out from 11:00 AM to 1:00 AM, while as per the notification, for the Class 12th students, the same shall be carried out from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on all days, that is, from Monday to Sunday.
- Class X: 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM
- Class XII: 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM
The students will be provided 15 minutes time for reading the question paper. Moreover, as per the official notice released by CISCE, the results for both Class X as well as Class XII will be released on 20th September 2021. On successfully passing the compartment examination, the candidates’ overall results will shift from PCNA to PCA, meanwhile, the students are required to submit the previous original marksheet to their respective schools who in turn will return the same to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations.
The students will be given the revised mark sheets and passing certificates from their respective schools. Due to the Wuhan virus pandemic, the examination for Class 10th as well as 12th was cancelled by the council, and later the results were released on the basis of optional evaluation. On 24th July 202, the results of ICSE and ISC were released by the board.
