The popular Bollywood choreographer Saroj Khan has said goodbye to the world today early in the morning at the age of 71 years. The reason for the death is being told cardiac arrest. She was not well for over two weeks and admitted to Guru Nanak hospital in Bandra. The choreographer has won three National awards and many others. She has worked with many popular celebrities and choreographed them including Sridevi and Madhuri Dixit. The ‘Hum Aap Ke Hain Kaun’ actress Madhuri came to her Instagram handle to express her feeling after listening to this heartbroken news she penned “She has been devastated by the demise of her close friend and master Ji Saroj Khan. She has helped her a lot in dancing and put all her efforts to make her reach this position. The world has lost a gem of the Bollywood industry and the loss is unmeasurable. She will also be remembered and Madhuri offered her condolence to the family.
Last year at the occasion of World Dance Day, Saroj Khan posted a picture on her social media with a great pose and captioned that “Dance is not about moving feet or waist it is about talking to your own soul.” We can see a strong bond between Saroj Khan and dancing, till the end of her life she didn’t leave dancing and worked in Kalank.

Kalank is the production of Dharma Productions that brought many popular stars on the same stage including Madhuri Dixit, Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Dutt, Sidharth Roy Kapoor, and Varun Dhawan. As we know the film didn’t do well at the box-office but the costume and dance moves were perfect. Saroj last choreographed the last song Tabaah Ho Gaye that was featuring Madhuri Dixit. Saroj always says dance is not moving waist or shaking legs it is a language to talk to your soul. The performance of Madhuri Dixit was full of expressions that could express her feeling through the dance moves and the credit goes to none other than the incredible Saroj Khan.
The choreographer and director Farah Khan also wrote ” She was the inspiration for most of them and said Rest in peace Saroj Khan Ji. Thank you for the songs she gave.” Apart from Madhuri Dixit and Farah Khan, the many Bollywood stars also expressed grieve on social media including Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, Ritiesh Deshmukh, Akshay Kumara, Manisha Koirala, Shilpa Shetty and many others.
