Latest News: Aamir Khan’s next on Rakesh Sharma to be titled Salute :- Amir khan’s Dangal and the buzz around it just refuse to die down even after a month to its release. The film has broken all records at the box office and turned out to be 2016’s highest grossing films.
Dangal not only won critical acclamations but also minted good money at the box office too. Aamir is recently working on his Thugs of Hindustan, which is confirmed to release this year. Moreover, between his shooting schedules, the actor is reading scripts these days.
The reporter says that Aamir is all set to reprise Rakesh Sharma, the first Indian to fly into space on the screen.Also, the Bollywood star has been approached with the script on this topic. 34 years ago, Rakesh Sharma was on Soyuz, the Soviet rocket, which blasted off into space. He was accompanied with commander Yury and flight engineer Gennadi Strekalov.
He had spent seven days, 21 hours 30 minutes on Salyut 7 Orbital Station. Sharma was conducting technical as well as scientific studies, which included 43 experimental sessions.
Aamir says that he will recreate his iconic journey on screen. Now reports claim that the biopic on Wing Commander Rakesh Sharma will be called as Salute and Siddharth Roy and Aamir will produce it.
