After Simmba and Singham, Rohit Shetty Plans To Make A Women Cop Movie: The movie Director Rohit Shetty declared today that he would like to helm a movie that would revolve around a female cop. Rohit Shetty, who is famous for the police films, is already started genre in the Bollywood to make or produce cop movies, which includes, Singham series, very successful movie of the Bollywood all time.
Most of the time Rohit Shetty cast Ajay Devgn in the titular role, for his various projects, whether it is his commercial masala movies, comedy movies or cop drama, most of the time he direct hero-centric films anyway.
This time he seems to like, going to break his stereotype image as a movie director, as now he already decided to make a cop drama, women-centric film.
“We are planning, we are working on the script. Like we have ‘Singham’, ‘Simmba’ for the lady Singham. It will take time. We are creating a universe where we will have a lady cop,” Rohit told reporters, in an event of Mumbai.
Rohit is, on the other hand, all set to team up with his friend Ajay once again but not yet the project has been decided.
“We are planning to work together but we don’t know which one to go ahead with… ‘Singham 3’ or next ‘Golmaal’ or maybe we might make something else.” Rohit was talking at the launch press conference of “Little Singham”, an animation series that will be telecast and premiere on the Discovery Kids channel from this April.
This animation movie has been inspired by the blockbuster film Singham, the series is made in collaboration with Rohit Shetty Pictures and Reliance Animation.
The “Dilwale” director announces that he is very soon going to be working on “Singham”, he did not anticipate that the movie and its dialogue, ‘Aata Majhi Satakli’, anyway in order to enjoy the cult status of him.
“Fans loved the film; policemen liked it too. Singham is not a superhero. He is an honest and a brave police officer. He has no gadget and he cannot fly but he is called a superhero. We thought of making a series of kids as they too warmed up to the world of ‘Singham’,” he added further.
